Youth BJJ Belt Test
May 12th, 2025
Some of our youth Jiu-jitsu students will be testing for their next belt in BJJ.
The belt test, consists of a special one-hour “rolling” session of continuous matches and approximately fifteen minutes of demonstrating the skills required for promotion to the next level.
The rolling day will be on May 12, 2025, starting at 6pm. The skills portion of the test will be conducted either the week prior to the rolling day, or the week following it.
The cost is $75 and covers the test and belt. This can be paid online, in person, or with 1,500 fundraising points.
The test is completely optional. Please let us know if your child will be testing.
Spring Potluck

🌸🥋 You’re Invited to Our Spring Potluck! 🥋🌸
Let’s kick off the season with good food and great company at our Spring Potluck!
Join us on Saturday, May 17th for an evening of great company, good laughs, and scrumptious food. The Potluck will start at 6 PM, directly after our youth Jiu-jitsu belting ceremony.
Whether you’re a student, family member, or friend, everyone is welcome! Admission is free, just bring your favorite dish to share and come enjoy the night with your martial arts family. 🍗🥗🍕

At this Potluck, we’re hosting a Dessert Auction! 🍰🍪
Cakes, pies, cookies, and other sweet treats will be auctioned off during the Potluck. The highest bidder wins the dessert and takes it home (or enjoys it right away)!
📝 Notes:
- Bring a main dish or side to share for the potluck. No desserts please.
- Let us know if you would like to donate a dessert for the auction.
- Come ready to bid and bring home something sweet!

Here’s how it works:
- Join us on Saturday, May 17th for our potluck dinner, starting at 6 PM.
- During the potluck, our auctioneer will announce each dessert and start the bidding.
- Highest bidder wins the dessert and takes it home (or enjoys it right away)!
Want to donate a dessert?
Bring your choice of cake, pie, cookies, or other sweet treat. Whether it’s homemade or store-bought, this is all a fundraiser for our youth programs!
Add your name to the Sign-up sheet if you would like to donate a dessert for the auction.
